The Kitchissippi Museum - live at Hintonburg's ArtsPark - Saturday May 30th!

Hintonburg's annual ArtsPark day will be next Saturday, May 30th, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. in Parkdale Market Park. There are lots of events for kids, live music, artists, crafts, food.... and history! I'll be setting up my booth for most of the day, with lots of old photos, maps, and some other things, and invite everyone to stop by and have a look, share stories, etc. I'll be there starting at 10, until the late afternoon.

For more information on ArtsPark, check out their facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/HintonburgArtspark and through the HCA website at http://hintonburg.com/artspark15.html

Cheers!

Live! The history of Wellington Village - Tuesday night!

Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying this great weather. Just letting you know that this Tuesday evening, May 12th, I will be giving a 15-minute talk on the history of Wellington Village during the Wellington Village Community Association AGM. The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 at Fisher Park School in room 112.

I'll have a little slideshow presentation with some photos and stories from the early days of Wellington Village, talking about how the community has grown.

Thank you!
