This week in the Kitchissippi Times is the first of my new regular column called "Early Days", which will be published every second issue, covering - you guessed it - local history.
This week's column is one which I'd been looking forward to sharing - the little-known history of my neighbourhood, Wellington Village. It includes an amazing story of how the lots were originally sold off, and how the community began.

In the meantime, I am working on more posts for this blog, I apologize that there has been a bit of a lull in fresh content. I've had my hands full on a major renovation project, and have sadly had to put all my (much more fun) history work on a bit of a hold. I expect to have a new post up in the next few days.
